November for me this year is laughing so much, that my face and stomach ached, but I felt so happy and relaxed without a care in the world! What had I been up to, you ask? Well I didn't see a comedy which you might of thought?! I went on a Laughter Yoga training course to be a certified Laughter Yoga Leader! Ha ha ha! It was great fun, met some merry souls and now I want to spread this wonderful therapy to you all, through workshops, classes and retreats.
Laughter Yoga is a blend of guided Laughter Exercises (which brings more energy and oxygen into the body), combined with Yogic Breathing. It reduces stress, can lower your blood pressure, releases happy hormones, boosts your immune system, relaxes your muscles and it helps you to stay healthy! As they say laughter is the best medicine, but did you also know that a good deep belly laughter for 10-15 minutes can have the same cardio vascular work out as 30 minutes on a rowing machine?!!
